Christmas 2007

Christmas! The season of cardboard UPS dropoffs - here DHV strikes his best "sleepy frat boy" pose while fetching some deliveries.
Later we headed to NY to meet up with Cousin Elsie, Aunt MAV, and Uncle LongA, courtesy of some of their hipster parenting friends.
EAB and DHV pretty much ignored each other.
DHV seemed a bit shocked by the whole situation.

Back in the Nu Haven DHV enjoyed some time with the three little pigs and big bad wolf.Once destructor went to bed the scene was set for Christmas morning."I'm the world's strongest baby!"Trains and overalls for everyone!Tunnel exploring.The wheelchair ramp was the most exciting thing of all!With a little help, DHV went from crawling to walking!

Getting "Elfed"

More snow! And ice!

Here in the 203 we're hunkering down after a couple inches of snow followed by a couple inches of sleet and freezing rain.
Indoors, DHV lost a fight with his parents' bed and wound up with a fat lip and funny expression.
Outdoors, DKV shoveled and shoveled and salted, and then shoveled and shoveled and salted again.
These crocs failed to heed the evacuation warnings.

First Snow

Our first snow in New Haven - only about an inch, but everything looks pretty. We remain in the hunt for better windows to keep our house warm!
