Christmas

We had a great Christmas.
No more books for Leigh. She won't open a new present until she's done reading her book.
It's not clear when this one turned into a teenager. I'm scared.

Oh, but wait, she's just a little fairy. It must have been a phase.
The day after Christmas, we went to Ikea to get some shelves to hold Danny's toys. Hanako helped assemble them. This her face of ultimate concentration, not an unchi face.
Night skate!

December (ii)

It is hard to beat trimming the Christmas tree on a snowy day.

Christmas

A Christmas Eve hike with my son. He was just getting over his illness, I suspect taking the opportunity to pass it on, in the giving spirit.
Hurricane Sandy did this.
 Christmas morning!
The girls with their new makeup set.  "Daddy, we have to makeup you!"

Christmas Tree

We cut our tree from the local farm, survived an inadvertent trip on the highway, and trimmed it out.  Our son does not like to wear clothes.

You need someone to check out the low branches!

 Some failed family photos.

 Gingerbread house.
 Bathtime lions.

After bath is a natural time for living room football.  In one's underwear, of course.
