The Nutcracker

Lindy brought us to see the Nutcracker Ballet. We met up with some Oregonians at Lindys and had a ceremonial reading of the Nutcracker.

August visit from Portland

Soon after we returned from Cape Cod we had a another visit from Portlandia.

Portlandia Part 3

Overnight it snowed, and those Rockettes were eager to get into the snow. There was some general madness with Casey the gentle dog.

 Then we went sledding!

 There some crying from powder burns but they kept coming back for more.

 Playing Hungry Hungry Hippo with the Bradfords. Theo says, "I'm really good at this game!"

 Then the Bradfords went to NYC and the Rocks showed up!

Nehalen Streeters

To the Brooklyn Botanical gardens to meet some West Coasties.  Ida likes this phone, a lot.

These girls really liked the trains.

 These two got along.

 The Ida's and Miki's came all the way to the East!  Ella led Pete and I on a death march to the beach. It was so rough Miki passed out.

 The next day we went to the children's museum in Middletown.  Who doesn't like an in-flight movie?

 Ida and Miki got trapped in a UFO.

 Ida helped gather fish in the cannery.  This was before big Uncle Dan laughed at her, causing her to hide in distress.

 Those girls sure like the beach, even when it is a gloomy day.  Miki likes to get naked.

 Danny and Ida got along great,..
