July iii

Danny, Hanako, and Dan K went to visit the Bradford cousins in Massachusetts. Danny and Elsie got right into the serious business of being cousins.

Everybody swam out to some log.

 Hanako overcame her fear of sand and water. 

Hanako showed some real grit by biking to the beach, 2/3rds of a mile each way. The older cousins ditched their bikes in favor of a golf cart ride back home. MAVVER embarrassed everyone by riding a too-small-bike.

 There was much fishing.

 On this particular afternoon, we played outside.

Hanako is wearing a pink sequined hat, "the cancer headband," and her favorite shades.

 Casey likes the yard.

 Leigh wasn't feeling well because I gave her a dinner through her tube, after she refused to eat it.

June(i): Dog

 We wanted to add some spice to our lives, so we got a dog.

Casey is a rescue Lab/Ridgeback mix from North Carolina. Danny declared Casey "my dog."
