Mite B *State Chamions*

They run something here called a "state championship tournament" at the end of the season. For the 8 and under "Mites" teams are divided into four-team divisions that then play 3 games round-robin and then a one game championship. There are 8-10 of these state championships going on at the same time, and then winners don't advance to play anyone else, so 8-10 teams get to call themselves state champions. It's silly but fun. Danny's team went 4-0 and were very happy.

Outdoor Hockey

 First, some outdoor mite hockey at the New Canaan Winter Club.

Someone told our coaches, "your families guys get really into this, huh?"

Snow Day

Lots of snow days around here. A two hour delay lets us skate without time pressure.

Good siblings. Great siblings.

And then, skating in the afternoon. Hanako ditched the trainer!
