Blizzard

It kept snowing. Not as much as forecast, but enough. I had promised the girls a snow cave (Danny really enjoyed the one in 2011), so I made one.

 Soon they were pretending to be a family of polar bears.

Snow

We're pretty busy living the winter sport life here. We sometimes find time to bathe the children. The girls decided to so some bathtub planking.

 Then, it snowed and we had to do other things.

 Such as freeze tag with the neighbors.

 Freeze tag is Hanako's favorite ice game.

Blizzard!

The big snow storm really shut us down last week. Danny and the neighbors tried to make the most of it, but it was cold, dark, and SLOW skating. By the time we were done shoveling the rink, more snow had come down where we started.

 The trusty car that got Dad into work, when those who have all-wheel drive luxury automobiles were "snowed in". We're still waiting for some of them to show up at work.

We got enough ice to support our boy!  Not safe for big people yet.

 

Sledding

Took Danny to the local sledding hill, shared the hill with his classmate and their cousins from Texas.

Nice fast snow.
