The town Mill Pond was closed for skating, so we headed to one of the elementary schools for the temporary rink there. It was locked up, but the helpful school folks called Parks and Recreation and got it opened up for us! DadKV is quite proud of his second ever ice skating experience, the first in 15 years. Danny wouldn't stop talking about it, either. Two days after he couldn't get up without the boards he was popping up without using his hands.

my favorite is the synchronized father-son fall around minute 2. and i like how danny walks in his skates. impressive display of perseverence for dkv and dhv.
You guys are fabulous! I think that synchronized fall was choreographed. I agree that it is quite amazing.
