A nurse, a nurse, my kingdom for a nurse!

The day is here.
DHV, SHV, DKV, and steady Janine are all at home.
LRV is resting comfortably in her hospital room, waiting for enough nurses to sign up.
Homecoming indefinitely postponed.

An almost-NP with peds specialty here (two more semesters to go) wishing that I lived in CT (and were licensed there) so that I could volunteer to help. It would be so great to help a little person be able to get bigger, stronger, faster at home instead of only ever taking care of them in hospital settings.

You may have already thought of this and are doing it or decided against it, but it's my nurse-y nature to suggest stuff I guess. Have you looked at the Yale School of Nursing's NP program? The people in the true NP (as opposed to the RN cum NP program) will already be CT licensed RNs with work experience. Yale's peds NP program is the best in the country and some students don't work full-time while trying to finish the MA or PhD and thus would be both qualified and available to work. Just a thought.....

Put up pictures of older brother DHV in the lion outfit... the nurses will come running.
