DHV giving LRV a bottle! Very cool. DHV sat still for about 5 minutes, which is a long time for him. LRV is now taking full bottles all by herself about 1/2 the time, and she's pushing 5lbs 14oz.

When you say taking a bottle "by herself" I'm not sure what you mean.
Also, I'm really, really, glad that DHV is no biter.
I think they mean she is holding the bottle by herself, which is a skill that Elsie learned very very late. We are very impressed with Leigh's skills...
Elsie will soon school her 2 east coast cousins on the art of biting.
"All be herself" means using her mouth and not some tube running down into her stomach. I sometimes do leave the bottle in her mouth to mop up the dribble with a towel and her amazing suction holds it right in.
Did not this handsome young dude not have a birthday, recently? Can we see it?
